Swiss watchmaker IWC Schaffhausen has launched an exhibition titled “A Tribute to Eternity” at its Shanghai Taikoo Hui boutique, focusing on lunar and perpetual calendar complications. The showcase highlights master watchmaker Kurt Klaus’ landmark perpetual calendar module created in 1985 that runs accurately until 2499 without adjustment. Key pieces on display include the 2024 Portugieser Eternal Calendar, which features a moon phase display accurate for 45 million years. The exhibition also features an original score by composer Hans Zimmer and an audio guide narrated by IWC ambassador Zhang Ruoyun.
