Miu Miu released its Chinese New Year “The Encounter” campaign Friday, featuring ambassadors Zhao Jinmai and Lexie Liu. Acclaimed Chinese filmmaker Gu You directed the short film, photographed by Li Sihao, set at Hangzhou’s Gongwang Art Museum. The Brutalist landmark, surrounded by rolling hills and winter mist, creates dialogue between “reality and reverie, modernity and memory, functionality and grace,” according to the brand.
