Six designers shortlisted for inaugural SFDA award program
The Shanghai Fashion Designers Association (SFDA) announced the shortlist for the inaugural “New Wave Fashion Awards.” Following three months of submissions and professional review, six designer brands were selected as finalists: Chen Sifan, Angus Chiang, Moto Guo, 8on8, Mayali, and Feng Chen Wang. The award, backed by funding from Dior and Moncler, aims to identify local creative talent combining avant-garde aesthetics with commercial potential. The final selection will take place during AW26 Shanghai Fashion Week at the end of March 2026. All six finalists will present comprehensive brand presentations on-site.
