Chinese downwear brand Bosideng has appointed retired Olympic diving champion Guo Jingjing as its global ESG ambassador, marking the appointment with a short film titled Have a Good Winter Solstice. The film observes the traditional festival through scenes of family reunion with Guo narrating as a family member. The inclusion of Yuxian paper-cutting, an intangible cultural heritage, connects craft to everyday life. Bosideng stated the collaboration reflects its ESG commitments in responsible down sourcing and climate management, aligning with Guo’s public welfare work. Guo, a four-time Olympic gold medalist and five-time world champion in 3m springboard, retired in 2011.
