Following Prada Group’s recent acquisition of Versace, the fashion house’s chief creative officer, Dario Vitale, has been confirmed to be leaving his position. His departure comes just eight months after his April 2025 appointment, making him Versace’s shortest-serving creative director. Following Vitale’s exit, the Versace creative team will be managed temporarily by CEO Emmanuel Gintzburger, with an announcement regarding a new creative director to be made in due course. Vitale succeeded Donatella Versace, who led the brand for nearly three decades and now serves as chief brand ambassador. Before joining Versace, Vitale was design director at Miu Miu.
