Anta-owned Fila Kids apologizes after staff mocks consumer

A Fila Kids store in Zhengzhou has apologized after a staff member inappropriately described a customer in its membership system as “complaining about prices” and shared the remarks in a customer WeChat group. Screenshots showed the customer was tagged with comments including “even a pair of shoes is too expensive” after purchasing a pair of shoes. The post, shared by staff in a membership group, drew criticism from other customers. Fila’s official service account apologized and said the employee involved has been formally criticized. Fila, owned by Anta Sports, operates in the mid-to-high price segment, with children’s shoes generally priced between 680-780 RMB ($94-$108).
