Louis Vuitton’s accessories director departs role

Louis Vuitton has announced the departure of Johnny Coca from his position as Director of Women’s Fashion Leather Goods and Accessories. The executive, who held the role for over five years, previously worked under Creative Director Nicolas Ghesquière. Louis Vuitton recognized Coca’s contribution, noting he “brought his expertise and creativity to numerous collections” and was instrumental in launching the brand’s Accessories Design Graduate Initiative. Coca’s career spans several prestigious luxury houses, including previous design roles at Louis Vuitton (1996-2000), Bally (2004-2010), Celine (2010-2015), and Mulberry (2015-2020) before returning to Louis Vuitton in 2020. No successor has been announced.
