Gentle Monster has inaugurated its debut flagship store in France, located in Paris’ historic Marais district. The store features immersive, narrative-driven design with striking kinetic installations. Most prominent is “The Giant Head,” a dynamic central piece created by the brand’s in-house robotics lab. The installation consists of three facial sculptures exploring themes of human connection and introspection. A large central face with closed eyes sways slowly in a meditative state, flanked by two other faces orbiting around it. Another installation titled “Star” interacts with natural light. The opening establishes a firm physical presence for the brand in Europe, reinforcing its strategy of merging retail with avant-garde art and technology.
