Outdoor brand Tanboer files for Hong Kong listing
Tanboer Group, a domestic outdoor apparel maker, has filed for a Hong Kong listing. The company, which delisted from China’s New Third Board in 2015, submitted its application on October 8, 2025. The move comes amid rapid expansion in China’s professional outdoor apparel market, which grew to 131.9 billion RMB ($18.2 billion) in 2024 and is projected to exceed 287 billion RMB ($39.6 billion) by 2029. Tanboer, ranked fourth among local brands by 2024 retail sales, plans to use IPO proceeds for R&D, overseas growth, and acquisitions. The company reported 658 million RMB ($90.8 million) in revenue for H1 2025, an 85% YoY increase.
