Maria Grazia Chiuri named Fendi creative officer

Maria Grazia Chiuri has been named chief creative officer of Fendi, set to present her debut collection during Milan Fashion Week next February. Chiuri succeeds Silvia Venturini Fendi, who now steps into the role of honorary president. The appointment marks a homecoming for Chiuri, who worked in Fendi’s accessories department from 1989 to 1999 and helped create the iconic Baguette bag. Chiuri closes a decade at Dior with her Cruise 2026 show in Rome in May.
