Spanish fashion retailer Zara is celebrating its 50th anniversary with a capsule collection created in collaboration with 50 international creatives from fields including fashion, photography, music, makeup, and film. Each participant also selected a charity to which Zara will donate 20,000 euros ($21,500). Highlights include a bomber jacket by photographer David Bailey, a cap by stylist Harry Lambert, a makeup box by Pat McGrath, glassware by Marc Newson, and a pet cage by Steven Meisel. The collection launches October 6 in select stores and online, following a Paris Fashion Week preview at Avenue George V from October 2 to 5. Proceeds benefit Women’s Earth Alliance, a nonprofit focused on environmental protection and women’s leadership.
