Xiaohongshu unveils creator commerce tool

Xiaohongshu (also known as RedNote) announced the launch of its “Buyer’s Showcase” feature at its Creator Partner Conference on September 16. The tool allows creators with over 1,000 followers to select products from a central hub and curate personalized display spaces. Showcases can be shared in direct messages or group chats and pinned to fan groups. The feature will appear on the platform’s new “Xiaohongshu Market” homepage. Official data showed creators combining content and buyer roles more than doubled compared with last year, while their income tripled. The move reflects Xiaohongshu’s efforts to strengthen its commercial and e-commerce ecosystem.
