VF Corporation sells Dickies to Bluestar for $600M

U.S. apparel giant VF Corporation signed a definitive agreement to sell century-old workwear label Dickies to brand management firm Bluestar Alliance for $600 million in cash. The deal, subject to regulatory approval, is expected to close by end-2025. CEO Bracken Darrell said proceeds will reduce net debt and support core business growth. In fiscal Q1 2026, The North Face revenue rose 6% to $557 million while Vans fell 14% to $498 million. VF bought Dickies in 2017 for about $820 million. Bluestar Alliance manages brands including Palm Angels and Off-White.
