Chinese sportswear leader Anta Group said on September 16 that it dismissed 74 employees for serious misconduct by August 2025, while 46 individuals were handed over to judicial authorities. Those implicated include one president-level executive and 14 directors. The group also blacklisted 45 suppliers, with cases involving about 30 million RMB ($4.1 million). Anta intensified oversight through audits and a “career tracing mechanism” that holds staff accountable for corruption even after leaving the company. Executive director and co-CEO Lai Shixian stressed integrity as a bottom line. Anta’s move follows similar anti-graft efforts at Chinese tech giants like Tencent, NetEase, and ByteDance.
