New York fashion label R13 opened its third China boutique at Shanghai’s HKRI Taikoo Hui. The store combines industrial design with modern materials, featuring a minimalist black façade with LED installations, exposed brick walls reminiscent of downtown New York, and seasonally updated graffiti walls. The opening coincided with R13’s 2025 Fall/Winter collection launch, emphasizing gothic and punk themes with skulls, dark florals, oversized knitwear, layered skirts, and distressed leather. The collection highlights deconstructive tailoring, heavy fabrics, and experimental silhouettes.
