L’Oréal’s Bold venture arm appoints new investment director
L’Oréal’s corporate venture capital arm, Bold, has appointed Arnaud Autret as its new Investment Director, based in Paris. He will oversee investments in European startups. Autret previously led European investments at Illumina Ventures and held senior roles at Merck’s corporate venture fund, M Ventures. Bold holds stakes in around 30 companies, including AI-driven ingredient platform Debut and sustainable body-care brand Uni. The appointment strengthens L’Oréal’s open innovation strategy and expands its footprint in biotechnology, artificial intelligence, and sustainable beauty innovation.
