The British Fashion Council has released the shortlist for the 2025 Fashion Awards Designer of the Year. Nominees include Glenn Martens, Jonathan Anderson, Martine Rose, Miuccia Prada, Rick Owens, and Willy Chavarria. Winners will be announced on December 1 at London’s Royal Albert Hall. BFC also unveiled nominees for Womenswear Designer, Menswear Designer, and the Vanguard Award. The list features Sarah Burton, Simone Rocha, Erdem Moralıoğlu, Craig Green, Grace Wales Bonner, Steve O Smith, and Torishéju Dumi. This year marks the first major initiative under newly appointed BFC CEO Laura Weir.
