German confectionery group Katjes has signed an agreement to acquire a 60% stake in luxury sportswear maker Bogner Group, marking its entry into the high-end apparel sector. The founding Bogner family will retain the remaining 40% stake. Known for its ski wear and upscale athleisure, Bogner is Germany’s largest family-owned luxury fashion brand. In the 2024/25 fiscal year, the company recorded nearly 200 million euros ($219 million) in net sales and remained profitable. Katjes did not disclose the transaction value.
