Build Your Dreams (BYD) has entered the top 100 of the 2025 Fortune Global 500 list for the first time, ranking 91st — the highest among all Chinese automakers, overtaking Tesla (number 106). It reported 2024 revenue of 777.1 billion RMB ($108.4 billion), up 29% YoY, with EV sales reaching 4.27 million units. Overseas sales in H1 2025 exceeded 470,000. A total of 25 global automakers made the list, led by Volkswagen (12th), Toyota (15th), and GM (35th). Eight Chinese companies were included, with Shanghai Automotive Industry Corporation (SAIC) (138th), Geely (155th), and First Automotive Works (FAW) (164th) also in the top 200.
