Jil Sander CEO steps down after 6 months

Serge Brunschwig has stepped down as CEO of Jil Sander after just six months in the role. He will be succeeded by Ubaldo Minelli, CEO of parent company OTB Group, who returns to the brand’s leadership to “ensure strategic and operational continuity,” according to a statement. Minelli previously led Jil Sander following OTB’s acquisition of the brand in 2021. Brunschwig, former Fendi chairman and CEO, joined OTB in February this year as Jil Sander CEO. The leadership shift comes just ahead of the debut collection by Jil Sander’s new creative director Simone Bellotti, who joined in March from Bally, succeeding former co-creative directors Luke and Lucie Meier.
