Emirates has launched a new daily direct flight between Dubai and Hangzhou, its fifth mainland China destination after Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen. Operated by a Boeing 777-300ER, the route adds over 2,400 weekly seats, with the inaugural flight achieving an 80% load factor. The move comes just weeks after Emirates opened its Shenzhen route, part of a broader post-pandemic expansion as flight rights to China ease. The airline now runs 49 weekly flights to the mainland.
