South Korea’s Musinsa targets 100 China stores by 2030

South Korean fashion platform Musinsa is accelerating its China expansion, with two offline stores planned in Shanghai — at Baisheng Mall on Huaihai Road and the upcoming New 600 Young complex in Xujiahui, set to open in early 2026. Its China online flagship store is scheduled to launch in September 2025. Musinsa is targeting 100 stores in China by 2030 as part of a global retail push aimed at reaching 3 trillion South Korean won ($2.16 billion) in GMV. In 2024, it recorded 1.24 trillion Korean won ($892 million) in GMV. The brand’s popularity among young Chinese shoppers, who now make up over 30% of its in-store foreign customers in Seoul, has fueled its expansion.
