Louis Vuitton South Korea confirms customer data breach
Louis Vuitton’s South Korea branch confirmed on July 4 that it had suffered a data breach after unauthorized access to its systems on June 8, resulting in customer information leaks. The company became aware of the breach earlier this week. Leaked data may include customer names, contact details, and other voluntarily provided information, though no passwords or financial data were compromised. The incident follows similar breaches at other LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton brands in South Korea. Earlier this year, Dior, Tiffany & Co, and Cartier also reported data leaks. Dior disclosed in May that unauthorized individuals accessed customer data in China, including names and shopping preferences, but confirmed no financial information was leaked.
