H&M Group posts 3% same-store sales growth in Q2
Swedish fashion giant H&M Group reported a 3% YoY increase in same-store net sales for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025, indicating initial success from its ongoing transformation strategy. For the first half of the fiscal year, the group posted net sales of 112.05 billion Swedish krona ($10.48 billion), with a gross profit of 58.59 billion Swedish krona ($5.48 billion) and a gross margin of 52.3%. Net profit stood at 4.54 billion Swedish krona ($425 million). In China, H&M is accelerating its growth strategy by concentrating resources on upgrading key stores and streamlining small to mid-sized locations to boost efficiency. The brand is also expanding its digital and omnichannel efforts, recently joining Douyin Mall to strengthen its online retail presence.
