Dior debuts 2026 resort collection at Roman villa
Dior presented its 2026 early resort collection at the rarely opened 18th-century Albanito Torlonia Villa in central Rome, marking the first time the neoclassical landmark has hosted a fashion show. Creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri drew on the grandeur of ancient Rome and Renaissance tailoring, blending goddess-like drapery with intricate embroidery and bold materials that continue her dialogue with couture craftsmanship. Highlights included flowing capes embroidered with classical motifs, sharply tailored jackets adorned with delicate beading, and shimmering gowns that lit up the torch-lit garden paths. The star-studded guest list added to the cinematic atmosphere, with Natalie Portman making an appearance.
