Thailand’s Ministry of Tourism said Tuesday that foreign tourist arrivals fell 1.75% YoY between January 1 and May 18, with about 13.4 million visitors recorded. China remained the largest source market, contributing 1.83 million visitors. On Monday, Thailand’s National Economic and Social Development Council lowered its full-year foreign tourist forecast from 38 million to 37 million.
