Visitors from China drive 25.5% of Goldwin’s Japan retail sales
Japanese outdoor and sportswear group Goldwin reported a 4.3% YoY revenue increase to 132.3 billion ($854 million) Japanese yen for FY2025. Operating profit fell 8.1% to 21.9 billion Japanese yen ($141 million) due to rising material costs and currency fluctuations. Mainland Chinese tourists drove 25.5% of domestic retail sales. The North Face brand grew 104.1%, and the Goldwin brand rose 145.5%, supported by a premium-focused strategy. The company announced a three-for-one stock split effective October 1 and opened five new stores in China.
