Ferragamo’s Asia-Pacific sales drop 13% in Q1
Italian luxury brand Ferragamo reported a 2.6% YoY decline in first-quarter sales, totaling 221 million euros ($239 million), citing sluggish demand in Asia-Pacific and underperformance in secondary channels. Sales rose 9.1% in EMEA to 54.2 million euros ($58.6 million) and 3.7% in North America to 62.2 million euros ($67.2 million). Japan increased 4.1% to 20.8 million euros ($22.5 million), while Asia-Pacific declined 13% to 63.7 million euros ($68.8 million). The group identified leather handbags as the main growth driver and a future strategic focus. CEO Marco Gobbetti noted new footwear SKUs will launch in the second half.
