Unilever to shut down Ren Clean Skincare by Q3
Unilever has announced plans to gradually shut down Ren Clean Skincare by Q3 2025, citing internal factors and market challenges. Acquired in 2015, Ren gained recognition for natural ingredients and eco-friendly packaging. Under Prestige division head Vasiliki Petrou, Ren achieved 1.2 billion British pounds ($1.5 billion) in 2023 revenue. However, following Petrou’s departure, declining profitability and shrinking market share led to Unilever’s decision to discontinue the brand.
