SMCP sees Q1 sales rise as China business stabilizes

French fashion group SMCP reported a 3.4% YoY revenue increase to 297 million euros ($320 million) for Q1 2025, up 2.6%. Growth came from strong performance in France, EMEA, and wholesale partnerships. In China, despite closing 65 stores in 2024, retail indicators improved with stable sales and rising conversion rates. The group closed 22 stores in the quarter quarter, mainly in Europe and Canada, while expanding into India and the Balkans through local partners.
