Adidas Q1 revenue jumps 13% on strong Samba sales

Adidas reported a strong start to 2025, with first-quarter revenue rising 13% YoY to 6.15 billion euros ($6.54 billion), surpassing market expectations. Operating profit climbed 82% to 610 million euros ($648 million), driven by the continued popularity of retro sneaker models such as Samba and Gazelle. The brand’s performance reflects its success in gaining market share from Nike while maintaining a lead over emerging competitors like On and Hoka. Adidas noted that all regions and sales channels recorded growth during the quarter.
