Nike announced the signing of Chinese golfer Ding Wenyi on April 16, and released an interview video to mark the occasion. Ding began playing golf at the age of seven and has since transitioned from an amateur to a professional athlete. He has been named “Best Amateur Player” at top domestic tournaments three times and, in 2024, topped the inaugural Global Amateur Pathway rankings, becoming the first Chinese player to earn a spot on the DP World Tour through this system. As a professional, Ding is set to compete in leading domestic golf events.
