China and Malaysia sign mutual visa exemption agreement
China’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday praised the newly signed mutual visa exemption agreement with Malaysia as a step toward deepening bilateral ties. Signed during President Xi Jinping’s state visit, the agreement removes visa requirements for holders of ordinary and service passports, aiming to enhance people-to-people exchanges and broader cooperation. The announcement comes as Malaysia grows increasingly popular among Chinese travelers, with Kuala Lumpur ranking among the top 10 international flight destinations on travel platform Qunar.
