Beiersdorf reported revenue of 2.69 billion euros ($2.88 billion) in Q1 2025, with organic growth of 3.6%. Its core Consumer Business segment contributed 2.25 billion euros ($2.41 billion), up 2.3% organically. While Nivea saw 2.5% growth, boosted by North American sales and facial care, and brands Eucerin and Aquaphor rose 11.4% due to innovations and emerging market expansion, the luxury brand La Prairie continued to struggle, posting a 17.5% YoY decline to 132 million euros ($141 million) — its third consecutive annual drop. The company attributed La Prairie’s weakness to ongoing challenges in China’s travel retail sector. In contrast, fellow high-end brand Chantecaille grew 15.9%, driven by further China expansion.
