The move is described as a personal decision and does not involve any change to LVMH’s corporate headquarters. Analysts point to two possible motivations behind the relocation: France’s rising tax burden and Italy’s favorable tax regime for high-net-worth individuals. Notably, Arnault purchased the historic Renaissance-era Casa degli Atellani in Milan in 2022. While initially rumored to be converted into a hotel, the property may now serve as his Italian residence.
