Bernard Arnault reportedly planning move to Milan

According to multiple Italian media outlets, Bernard Arnault, Chairman of French luxury conglomerate LVMH, is reportedly considering relocating his personal residence from Paris to Milan. The move is described as a personal decision and does not involve any change to LVMH’s corporate headquarters. Analysts point to two possible motivations behind the relocation: France’s rising tax burden and Italy’s favorable tax regime for high-net-worth individuals. Notably, Arnault purchased the historic Renaissance-era Casa degli Atellani in Milan in 2022. While initially rumored to be converted into a hotel, the property may now serve as his Italian residence.
