LVMH proposes raising CEO age limit to 85 for Bernard Arnault

LVMH has proposed raising the maximum age limit for its chairman and CEO to 85, potentially allowing Bernard Arnault, 76, to continue leading the company for nearly another decade. Shareholders will vote on the change during LVMH’s annual meeting on April 17. Arnault, who has helmed LVMH since 1989, has yet to name a successor despite his five children holding key roles within the company. Recent leadership changes include Alexandre Arnault becoming deputy chief of Moët Hennessy and Frédéric Arnault taking charge of Loro Piana.
