Chinese tourists lead South Korea's 10.5% visitor growth

According to the February 2025 Korea Tourism Statistics report released this week by the Korea Tourism Organization, South Korea received a total of 1,138,408 foreign visitors in February, marking a YoY increase of 10.5%. Chinese tourists accounted for the largest share, with 340,860 arrivals — a slight decline of 0.8% compared to the same period last year. Meanwhile, the number of Japanese visitors reached 224,482, up 22% YoY.
