Shenzhen unveils brand incentives for luxury labels

Last week, the Shenzhen Municipal Commerce Bureau unveiled the policies aimed at fostering the integrated development of commerce, culture, tourism, and sports. The policy focuses on fostering innovative consumption models such as the “debut economy,” exhibition economy, and concert economy, while creating unique consumption scenarios. To attract global and domestic brands to launch in Shenzhen, the policy offers financial incentives, including rewards of 200,000 RMB ($27,700) per brand introduced, capped at 5 million RMB ($693,000), and up to 500,000 RMB ($69,300) for renowned brands establishing independent legal entities in Shenzhen.
