YSL Beauty has launched a global initiative, “Abuse Is Not Love,” aimed at raising awareness about domestic violence and promoting healthier relationship norms. The campaign centers around a Parisian love story that reveals hidden signs of abuse. Intimate partner violence affects approximately 736 million women worldwide, with many abusive behaviors misinterpreted as acts of love. Since 2020, YSL Beauty has contributed over 5.2 million euros ($5.5 million) to NGO partners and trained more than 1.3 million individuals across 25 markets. By 2030, the brand aims to establish educational platforms reaching 2 million people to help identify and prevent domestic violence.
