Carven has appointed Mark Thomas as its new design director, effective March 9. The brand promoted Thomas from within after Louise Trotter’s departure to Bottega Veneta. Thomas joined Carven in 2023 as a senior designer, working closely with Trotter for three seasons. A Central Saint Martins graduate, Thomas previously worked at Givenchy, Joseph, and served as creative director at Helmut Lang from 2017 to 2019.
