Valentino is set to celebrate International Women’s Day with a series of exclusive events in Shanghai, centered around the city’s Suzhou Creek, often referred to as the “Mother River.” The brand aims to honor female strength and creativity through various activities. One highlight is a solo exhibition by Japanese photographer Rinko Kawauchi, which will take place at the Fotografiska Center. The immersive art experience explores the beauty of time and its passage through the interplay of light and shadow. Additionally, Valentino will host a Women’s Live House music party at Union Church in Shanghai’s RockBund area, featuring female musicians in live performance. The brand will also collaborate with Shanghai’s Imaginist Bookstore to organize a women’s reading club.
