French sneaker brand Hoka One One announced on February 18 that Gao Tingyu, China’s first male speed skating Winter Olympic champion, has become its latest ambassador. Gao, who set a world record in the men’s 100-meter speed skating and broke the Asian record at the 2025 9th Asian Winter Games, made history as the first athlete in the sport to win three gold medals. In addition to his competitive achievements, Gao incorporates running into his daily training routine, viewing it as both a core part of his preparation and a personal passion.
