During the Chinese New Year holiday, Hong Kong welcomed nearly 1.25 million visitors, with over 2,000 mainland tour groups. Iconic spots like Victoria Peak and Ocean Park were packed, while tourists enjoyed the festive atmosphere, including flower markets and traditional holiday foods. The city also hosted events like the New Year Parade and fireworks, leading to a hotel occupancy rate of 90%. With a 17% increase in non-mainland visitors and a strong January, Hong Kong’s tourism is on track for continued growth in 2025.
