In response, Li Ning stated, “We appreciate the attention and support for the Li Ning brand. Please refer to official announcements for any related updates.” According to insiders, “After the Paris Olympics, Li Ning and Anta have been in constant negotiations over this matter. While there is still room for change before the official announcement, the balance currently seems to be tipping in favor of Li Ning.” Currently, Anta is still featured on the Chinese Olympic Committee’s official website as a partner for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics. Anta has held this sponsorship position since 2009 and will remain in place until 2025, a span of 16 years.
