Lancôme unveils AI-powered CNY campaign with Ni Ni

Lancôme will mark its 90th anniversary in 2025 with initiatives including a collaboration with artist Cai Guo-qiang and his AI model cAI. Together, they created Rose of Paris, featuring the brand’s signature rose depicted through gunpowder explosions. The artwork symbolizes renewal and inspires Lancôme’s Chinese New Year campaign, which showcases a rose breaking through ice to bloom. The campaign introduces pink as its main color and features global ambassador, actress Ni Ni. Rose of Paris also appears on packaging for a limited edition collection, including revamped versions of the Absolue Cream, Génifique serum, and L’Absolu Rouge lipsticks.
