Chinese EV makers see lowest EU market share since March
Data from Dataforce shows Chinese automakers like BYD and SAIC’s MG accounted for 7.4% of Europe’s EV registrations in November, down from 8.2% in October, the lowest since March. New EU tariffs have raised export costs by 35%. China Customs reported a 19% YoY drop in global EV exports for November, with EU exports down 23%. While EV registrations in Germany and France halved, sales in the UK rose 17%, unaffected by EU tariffs.
