Beijing’s top Audi dealership defects to EV maker Aito
Huayang Aotong, once the largest Audi 4S dealership in Beijing, has ceased its Audi operations and transitioned to the Aito brand under Huawei’s HarmonyOS ecosystem. The Audi logo on its façade has been replaced by the Aito logo, and remaining Audi inventory is being sold at clearance discounts while assisting customers in transferring to other dealerships for maintenance services. In recent years, Audi has struggled in the Chinese market, with declining sales and a shrinking retail share across German brands, further exacerbating dealership closures.
