Hong Kong fashion group Moiselle posts widening losses

Moiselle International reported its financial results for the first half of the fiscal year ending September 30, showing a 21.74% YoY decline in revenue to HK$50.57 million ($6.46 million). The loss attributable to company shareholders widened to HK$23.61 million ($3.02 million). During the period, the group’s revenue in mainland China fell by 10% YoY to HK$13.12 million ($1.68 million), with a total of 12 Moiselle retail stores operating in the region. Founded in 1997, Moiselle Group owns brands such as Moiselle, Mademoiselle, and Imaroon. The group operates over 30 retail stores and counters across Hong Kong, Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities in mainland China, Macau, and Taiwan.
