Dior’s creative director for women’s fashion, Maria Grazia Chiuri, is expected to continue the tradition of collaborating with local artisans for this season’s collection. According to previous reports from Fashion Without Borders, Chiuri purchased the historic Teatro della Cometa in Rome last December and is currently renovating the theater. Chiuri stated that this investment is a creative project for her, saying that theater is an important forum for creativity and a way for her to give back to her hometown of Rome.
