Liaoning Zhuozhan Times Square Department Store Co announced on October 15 that its Shenyang Zhuozhan store will close on November 15. Consumers holding membership cards and shopping cards can still use them at Zhuozhan stores in Changchun and Harbin. The Louis Vuitton and Gucci stores located in the Shenyang Zhuozhan had already closed. Shenyang Zhuozhan Group is a well-known high-end department store operator in Northeast China, established in the 1990s. It has shopping centers in Shenyang, Changchun, and Harbin. Zhuozhan Times Square entered Shenyang in 2006. With the cooling of the luxury market and the competition from high-end retail real estate such as MixC and Henglong, Zhuozhan is facing increasingly fierce competition and challenges.
